Why ATIKO?

When I have planned to start this blog ,I seek an advice from my self and i have asked a question "What is the need to blogging ? There are so many websites and Blogs which write on the social and political aspects of Ethiopia, so is it necessary ?"  What a different I will going to write? and so many ... I couldn't answer for these questions for a while but with in a moment i got the answer,i.e the first day i thought about the use of blogging. My day to day life show me alto to say about my community, my beloved people. We may have some thing to say about us to the rest of the world.Yes because we never want bad image to our Ethiopia,we never want to be ashamed in front of others. But we have been ashamed to ourselves so many times,may be uncountable. Do you know why? You may answer it for your self. But for me one thing is in my mind, a QUESTION OF FREEDOM. All of our grandfather wanted it badly, our fathers need it so badly and now we wanted and need it more than any thing  though we couldn't get it till.  But i can't imagine how our children define it ,no word to express it.   This urges me at least to write what I heard , what I am hearing and what I will hear in the womb of my society.  Soon i will start it, Atiko will be the mouth of my society. Who knows one day freedom may knock the door of my tomb....
